Save Sands Road was started by a group of concerned neighbors and community members who came together in opposition to the proposed overdevelopment of 7013 Sands Road to rezone this property and build a truck terminal for 350 tractor trailers. Since then, we have been meeting weekly to share information and organize for upcoming Planning and Zoning and City Council meetings.
Our concerned community members meet Wednesdays from 7 pm to 8 pm at the Algonquin Township Building, 3702 US-14, Crystal Lake, IL We will resume weekly meetings on Jan. 3rd.
